We know many of you have been looking for a larger Square Squared tool to make big Diamond Square units for your modern quilts or for framing your beautiful embroidery. What would you say if we said you could also use it to make Stacked Squares (like in Storm at Sea), Pineapple Blocks, Snail’s Trail Blocks, and a fancy version of a Flying Goose we call Birds of Paradise? We took oodles of the Large Square Squared tools to the quilt show in Paducah and sold out by noon on the second day of the 4 day show. Quilters have spoken, and they are already loving this tool and its versatility!

This big, two piece tool set comes with the basic instructions for making Diamond Square units that finish from 1” up to 12” in whole inch increments, and we’ll be introducing patterns and technique sheets for the additional techniques and blocks as we get them done.

With all this, if you’re itching to give it a try (and you know you are!) you can order your very own Large Square Squared here!

Certified Instructor Training - July 25 through 30, 2016

Boy are we excited about our next Certified Instructor Training coming up July 25 through 30! We've got a great class started with some really talented applicants. We'll be expecting great things out of this group, for sure. There are still some spots available, so if you're interested in having a great in-depth immersion into using, teaching, and demonstrating the tools to jumpstart your quilting career, don't delay!

Download the CI Training Class Information and Application here.

All of the documents are in pdf format so everyone can open them easily. If you want to apply electronically, that's fine, you can send scans of your completed forms to Sue at tuckersm180@gmail.com, or just send an email with the required information. Of course, you'll still need to send in your blocks for evaluation, but for those of you who prefer electronic and want to get your application started, no worries!

The information in the downloads should include answers to all the questions you might have, but if after you look them over there is still something you're wondering, feel free to email Sue with questions at: tuckersm180@gmail.com.

**Please note:  there is a typo on the application information saying the class runs from the 24th through 29th, but actually it will take place from the 25th through the 30th**

Teaching and Shows

Remember, Deb's show and teaching calendar is posted on our website:

Studio 180 Design Calendar

It includes all the shows we've got scheduled for the year and the classes Deb is teaching. If you're ever wondering where you might see us or if you want to take a class with Deb, this is the place to go. For instance, did you know Deb has classes coming up at:

America Quilts Expo in Des Moines, IA
NC Quilt Symposium in Raleigh, NC
Vermont Quilt Festival in Burlington, VT

Click on the links above for more information. Some of the classes are already full, but there are still a few seats available for some, so you might want to check it out!

Hope to see some of you there!
