Welcome back to the Exuberance Blog Hop! We hope you enjoyed the quilts that some of our Certified Instructors shared this week using the latest fabrics in our collaboration with Island Batik. The bold and vivid colors of these beautiful pieces really shine in all of these projects. Precuts were used in every single project! We have a round up of all of their posts from this week, as well as a few more quilts to share with you.

On Monday, Diana Mann of Murgaboo Quilts started out with a project using 2½” strips and one of our newest Technique Sheets for the Tucker Trimmer® III, Curved Log Cabin. Exuberance has vivid dark and medium values, making Curved Log Cabin a perfect way to show off the contrast of this traditional block. Brilliant hues modernize this wall hanging and 2½” strips are perfect for this technique. You can read more about Diana’s process making this project and her virtual classes on her blog.

Tuesday, Tina Dillard of Quilting Affection Designs shared her original design using the Star 60® tool and a Technique Sheet called Power Strip 60. She chose to work with 10” squares. The bright prints of Exuberance really stand out against the white background. This geometric design and these fabrics pair perfectly together. You can learn more about Tina’s ideas for this quilt, and about her original designs for Studio 180 Design tools on her blog.

Wednesday, Karen Overton, the Quilt Rambler, took her turn on the blog hop. She also chose to work with 10” squares and the Petite Rapid Fire Hunter’s Star® tool. Karen’s project, called Hidden Star, really showcases the bright hues of Exuberance. We love the way the center of the quilt radiates out to the deeper, richer colors on the edges. She has a wonderful free series coming up to help you make this project! You can learn more about Karen’s design and her free tutorials on her blog.

On Thursday, Phyllis Fay of Tucker University showed us two projects using fat quarters. Her first quilt is Full Spectrum using the Wedge Star® tool. The Exuberance fabrics pop against the light background in this fun quilt. The border ties together the scrappy piecing. She then used her leftover fabrics to make Hopscotch, a table runner with Rapid Fire Lemoyne Star®. We love how different the more solid tones of Exuberance look in this project compared to the variegated fabrics she used for Full Spectrum. You can learn more about Phyllis and Tucker University on her blog.

Friday, Amy Costabile of Amy’s Quilt Room gave us a loved favorite reimagined in Exuberance. Amy chose to work with 10” squares and the Wing Clipper® to make Love Links. Exuberance’s brilliant saturated colors stand out in this pattern. The background quilting accentuates the chevrons created by the flying geese. We love how the precision of the piecing and the quilting combine to make a truly stunning quilt. You can learn more about Amy’s process for making Love Links and her shop on her blog.

On Saturday Raija Salomaa of Quilter’s Treasure Chest treated us to an original design. She chose to work with 10” squares to make Vendla’s Playdate. The quilt uses the V Block® tool in a unique way to make fun blocks. The Exuberance fabric is truly eye catching, with bright colors standing out against the background. This whimsical quilt is beautiful in these vivacious colors! You can learn more about Raija and her designs using Studio 180 Design tools on her blog.

We have even more gorgeous quilts reimagined in Exuberance! Tumbling Triangles uses V Block® to make a modern and fun quilt. We used the saturated pinks and vibrant blues to make two different versions.

The blocks in Beaded Lace are made with the Tucker Trimmer® and the Corner Beam® tools. The classic piecing is fun and modern in these brilliant colors.

We hope you’ve enjoyed the Exuberance Blog Hop! We’ve shown you some gorgeous projects from our own studio as well as quilts made by some of our Certified Instructors. We’ve been hinting all week that we have a special surprise for you. Sue Tucker, our CFO, is taking over the blog tomorrow with a joyful free pattern using Exuberance. All the furry friends at Studio 180 can’t get enough of this cute project. Sue and her two quilting helpers Nino and Naz will be here to help us celebrate the release of Exuberance!

Exuberance is beginning to arrive in shops now. Share your projects with us using the hashtags: #Exuberancefabric #studio180designquilts
