Have you made so many large projects you can cover a football field like Deb?! You may be interested in creating what we like to call pint size projects. These projects tend to be smaller sizes, sometimes even miniature. We’ve developed two new tools for those people who are looking to downsize their projects!

The Pint Size Tucker Trimmer® and the Pint Size Wing Clipper® include the smaller units of the original tools. What’s so great about them? Let us show you all the fantastic things you can do!

The Pint Size Tucker Trimmer® includes the 12 smallest sizes that are on the Tucker Trimmer I® and the Tucker Trimmer II®. You can trim units down in ¼”, ½”, ¾”, and whole inch sizes. There are common and size diagonals, just like the original tools, as well as easy to read markings and lines.

The Pint Size Wing Clipper® includes the 4 smallest sizes on both the Wing Clipper I® and Wing Clipper II®. You’ll be able to trim down units in ¼”, ½”, ¾”, and whole inch sizes. The markings are the same as the original tools, clear and easy to read.

You can see that these are essentially two tools in one. For the Pint Size Tucker Trimmer®, you get both the Tucker Trimmer I® and Tucker Trimmer II® on one tool. The same thing applies to the Pint Size Wing Clipper®; you get the Wing Clipper I® and Wing Clipper II® on one tool. Just the thing you need to make your piecing easier!

The Pint Size Tucker Trimmer® is a great companion to the Pint Size Wing Clipper®. If you’ve been using our new No Nudge method to make your flying geese, then you know that when making the most common size of flying geese, 2” x 4” finished, that the starting small square size is 3 ¼”. Now you can use the Pint Size Tucker Trimmer® to cut those 3 ¼” squares from strips and trim your flying geese down using the Pint Size Wing Clipper®. Having both the ¼” and ¾” as well as the ½” and whole inch sizes on one tool means fewer tools at your cutting mat.

These new tools are compact and give you the same great results that you’ve come to expect from all of the Studio 180 Design tools. They are the perfect size for retreats and classes. We know you’ll find some great uses for them right away!

We have some patterns that will be great for these new tools. Solitaire, Doves of Hope, and Bread and Butter are perfect for the Pint Size Tucker Trimmer®. The Pint Size Wing Clipper® is perfect for Love Links, Star Shadows, Mini Carolina Lily, and Charleston Lily.

Be sure to share your finished projects with us using the hashtags #pintsizetuckertrimmer and #pintsizewingclipper
