Finally, a tool and technique that will allow any quilter to quickly, easily and accurately piece traditional Lemoyne Star blocks in 10 different sizes! The block units are strip pieced, assembled without using any “Y” seams, pieced so that the blocks themselves are slightly oversized so at the end each can be trimmed to an exact size. You can check out the process in our free online video demonstration. Deb’s step by step directions and Constellation bonus quilt project will have you turning Lemoyne Star blocks out by the dozens. A truly addicting ruler and process.
Don't forget to consider the Tucker Trimmer 3 for the final trimdown. It's the perfect companion ruler to your Rapid Fire Lemoyne Star - it'll easily handle the final trim for all 10 block sizes. Check it out here!

New & Improved 2019 edition!
The Tucker Trimmer tool was designed to help quilter’s quickly and easily trim down units that are made with triangles: half square triangle squares, quarter square triangle squares (hourglass units), and combinations of half square and quarter square triangle squares (combination units). It has multiple diagonals which allow you to align ruler guide lines with unit seam lines to quickly locate the exact center of pieced units. This makes trim down easy, precise, and perfect every time. No more figuring, or guessing, or struggling to find a center point, and you can see it demonstrated on our free online video demo. I use it for much more than just trimming however and consider it my “must have” tool every time I head to my cutting table.

The Wing Clipper is a must have tool if you are making Flying Geese units for your quilt. This tool, and the associated Fast Flying Geese construction technique, allow you to make four finished units from five squares. The best part is that each unit is constructed slightly oversized so each can be trimmed to a perfect size with perfect seam placement once the sewing and pressing are complete by using the Wing Clipper tool. You can see the tool in action on our free online video demonstration below. Every single unit will be exactly right every time. Now who ever thought that would happen with Flying Geese units?!?!

Galaxy is a beautiful alternating block design using two types of blocks, one with a red star and one with a blue star. Because of the color placement and the different angles in the triangles, the interesting interlocking circles appear and the second star block disappears into the circles. It’s a fun optical illusion, easy to make and even easier to admire.

The streamlined construction of this star block was conceived while working at a retreat in Rangeley, Maine: hence the name. Using Deb’s Tucker Trimmer 1 tool and an additional trim, all those complicated star points become simple to make. The project has a complex look, but is actually very easy to construct. Just what we like!

Diamonds in the Sky is a brilliant high contrast quilt. The Corner Beam blocks used throughout the design give you an alternating diamond illusion that simply radiates beauty. While we made our Diamonds in the Sky project with a medley of bright fat quarters for our stars, you could use 6” strips or scraps of bright fabric to make this a dynamite stash-buster project.

Look at this beauty! Our friend, Pam Goggans, designed this quilt using the Rapid Fire Lemoyne Star tool. She figured out how to use the tool to create the three star points within each star point to create a traditional Flying Swallows block. WOW! And, it's much easier than using traditional techniques! We loved this quilt so much, and there was so much buzz about it at Quilt Market and Festival this year, that we did something we've never done before: asked a designer to let us sell one of their patterns on our website! In case you don't recall, Pam is the very talented designer who came up with the process for Blazing Lemoynes that became our latest Technique Sheet for the Rapid Fire Lemoyne Star. She also has a pattern for making a Carpenter's Wheel with your Lemoyne Star tool that's fantastic (you can purchase those through her website).
